Strathendrick Golf Club had 5 junior boy members take part in Stirlingshire County boys Strokeplay Championships today at Glenbervie Golf Club.
Euan McIlwriath, Liam Rowles, Craig Jackman, Scott Hasell and David Hood all took part and 3 qualified for the Quarter Finals to be held on Monday evening at Glenbervie Golf Club. Euan and Liam narrowly missed out on qualifying by just a few strokes but Scott qualify's for the Handicap Quarter Finals while Craig and David made the Scratch Quarter Finals. Well done to all the boys for their fantastic performances today. The Winner of Strathendrick Golf Clubs 2014 Club Championship, Mr Alan Vickers successfully retained his title for the 4th year running against a spirited performance from 14 year old Craig Jackman. Alan is and will remain the man to beat with his excellent short game and resilient golf strategy. Well done to Alan for retaining his trophy and setting down the benchmark for others to follow. Commiserations to Craig who was highly spoken off by Alan after the match. Next year Craig! Alan is seen receiving his trophy from Match Referee Terry Rowles. 
The Gents Senior Open on Friday 13th June draw is attached. The sheet will be updated on Thursday evening with any last minute entries.
